AOne is the new smart lighting solution from Aurora Lighting. The AOne range offers the ability to control your lights, sockets and sensors from a mobile device and from the wall.
Some of the lighting products are simple to install without the need for an electrician, for example the AOne GU10, GLS and Candle lamps. However, many of the products do require wiring and for this you will need to contact an electrician. Aurora are committed to finding electrical contractors across the country, and training them on the AOne range. You can find your local trained installer here.
The only cost of the install is the charge from the electrical contractor that you hire. There is no monthly contract fee to use the Smart Lighting system. Aurora are committed to finding electrical contractors across the country, and training them on the AOne range. You can find your local trained installer here.
You will need to download the AOne App - free on Android and iOS app stores. Create an account on the App, configure your hub (Zigbee or Samsung SmartThings), install your Smart devices - lamps, sockets and sensors, then pair your devices to the AOne App.
The pairing process is quick and simple. The App will walk you through the pairing process for each device. If you have any issues there is a help section on the AOne App and link to the AOne Helpdesk to speak to a trained professional.

Having tuneable white and RGB lighting throughout your home allows you to create a range of light settings in order to adjust the mood and ambience for different occasions.
By pressing the switch you generate enough energy to activate the light. No batteries or wiring are required.
By adding the AOne PIR sensor to your smart system you can ensure that your lighting is only being used when required. The sensor is activated when you enter a room which triggers your lights to come on. The sensor can be configured to keep the lights on for a set amount of time.

A ‘Space’ is an area of your home, predetermined by you, where you can group your devices together in order to create scenes and schedules. For example, Hallway, Kitchen, Dining Room, Living Room etc.
A ‘Scene’ is a predetermined setting created by you where you can save your lighting preferences for a range of different scenarios, for example; movie night and lazy Sunday mornings.
A ‘Schedule’ is a predetermined trigger that allows you to set your lighting to come on and turn off at a certain time of the day. For example, set your kitchen lights to always come on at 7am ready for your morning coffee on a weekday, but at 9am on the weekend when you like to sleep in a bit later. You can even create a holiday schedule that will mimic your occupancy so it doesn't look like you’re away from home, giving you added peace of mind.
